Khaya Port Elizabeth, which was founded by Martijn and Ellen van der Put, started in 2006 as a student placement organization with a hand full of students. Currently the student count has tripled due to the dedication, hard work and support of the PE Team.

Like the old saying goes ‘with work must come play’! This is why the Khaya PE travel team wants you to get the most out of your stay in Port Elizabeth. Because of our network throughout South Africa, and especially Port Elizabeth we have close contact with various organizations that provide fun activities for you.

Khaya travel offers numerous and a variety of opportunities to explore Port Elizabeth as well as areas outside of the city by organizing various day trips and weekend tours to game parks, lodges, camp sites and many other exciting places.

When travelling to these exotic places you will have a ‘once in a life time opportunity’ of experiencing nature like you never did before. On some of these trips you will be able to experience wild 4X4 game drives, fishing, canoeing, hiking, skydiving, sea kayaking, swimming, mountain biking, surfing and the chance of meeting the Big Five of South Africa.
